The Massey Company is now offering Cera System Engineered Ceramic
Valve Product.
Cera System manufactures a more complete line of ceramic valves and
ceramic pipe components than does any other ceramic valve supplier
worldwide. As a market leader in ceramic lined valves and pipe systems,
Cera System is constantly developing new and innovative product
solutions to meet the needs of their customers.
The Cera System Ceramic Ball Valve is the most robust and versatile
Full Ceramic valve on the market today. Cera System has many standard
features that serve to benefit the user in installation costs, lifetime costs of
ownership, overall process control improvements, and reduced downtime.
In addition to these standard features, Cera System has many options
available for specific customer and application driven requirements.
For standard ceramic valve applications, Cera System users benefit from
a large range of standard products. With over 14 standard ceramic valve
models, most application challenges can be solved using readily available
products. Each valve series can be custom fitted with a variety of trim,
material options, and valve configurations.
When a standard valve will not meet the demands of the application,
Cera System will design and engineer a custom ceramic valve solution
specific to the end users' application. It is these special application valves
where Cera System excels beyond other ceramic valve suppliers.
Listed here are some of the key features of the Cera System Ceramic Ball
Valve.
Heavy duty body housing Cera Systems heavy duty
valve construction along with valve design isolates vulnerable ceramic parts
from pipe stress thus reducing the chance of damaging the costly ceramic
components of the valve.
Valve design eliminates the need for
ceramic lined spools The long, ceramic lined outlet of the
Cera System Ceramic Valve eliminates the need of downstream ceramic lined
spool pieces to protect the piping from abrasion wear caused by the discharge
of the valve. This contributes to installation costs savings and reduces the
number of gasketed pipe joints to install the valve.
Conventional flange bolting Cera valves are
installed using conventional flange bolts and heavy nuts as compared to valves
which have threaded blind flange holes that require specific length cap screws.
The Cera valve flange design is what construction and maintenance personnel
are accustom to installing. Further, this design reduces the chance of flange
joint leaks and valve body damage so often seen in blind hole designed valves
due to miss sized cap screw length.
Ceramic valve parts are not under
compression or stress The internal ceramic valve body
parts are nit under compress or stress when installed in the pipe system. The
design eliminates possibility of cracking the body and seat sockets during
handling and installation. Additionally, the ceramic parts are not stressed by
piping influences.
BLOW-OUT proof stem As a safety concern, every Cera
System valve is designed to incorporate a Blowout Proof Valve Stem. This
design is more often than not mandated by the governing project or plant
specification and applicable codes. Many ceramic valve manufacturers do not
have this feature.
